The idea of the weight loss program is to be able for you to develop a consistent approach to weight loss as well as a healthy endurance when exercising.  The program’s objective is to get rid of the excesses in your body, the excess fat.  Not the healthy and lean muscle tissues and body fluids.

The program first requires your focus and dedication, so therefore you need to be prepared in both mind and – of course – body.  It is highly advised that you first visit your doctor for a check-up before embarking on any weight loss program.

It is important that when starting on any weight loss program, one should be positive enough to work for the results.  Some people get impatient easily but long term effects are assured as long as one sticks to the weight loss plan at hand.

Thyroid is an endocrine gland, whose function is to produce produces hormones that help the body use oxygen and calories for energy, and regulation of metabolism, among many functions. Your thyroid is a small butterfly-shaped gland, located in your neck, wrapped around the windpipe, and is located behind and below the Adam’s Apple area.

It dictates much of your metabolism, any malfunction or disease afflicting the thyroid may cause you to have problems in metabolism leading to a drastic problem with your weight – you may either gain weight, lose weight, or may find that losing weight is harder than usual. Your thyroid is sensitive to many different influences, including diet and lifestyle.

Those that plan diets do not take into consideration how their thyroids and metabolism may affect their weight loss program. Most experts and even the media pitch in and recommend that the best way to lose weight is cut calories. When the thyroid isn’t working properly it can affect our energy levels, muscle strength, body weight, skin health, menstrual cycle, memory, heart rate and cholesterol levels.
