I ordered these pads as a stocking stuffer for my wife (yes, I shop early for my gifts). When the package arrived, I was dumbfounded to realize that the pads weren’t even contained within a box as I had imagined. Instead, they were contained within a zip-type closure plastic bag. Also in the bag were the instructions that would be normally contained on the box, but they were printed in black and white on 8.5 x 11″ paper. I still can’t believe that the product is not sold in a professional packaging. I ordered these as a gift, but will be embarrassed to even give them to my wife. Why 2 stars instead of 1? Well, Since they are for a gift, I do not know if or how well they work, so there may be a little to salvage, but after arriving in a plastic bag, I’d say that’s all they’ll have going for them.
These pads might work, but I wasn’t able to use them more than one night. The pads smell terribly, but I tried putting them on my feet overnight anyway. By morning the smell was even worse, and I didn’t feel any better. I scrubbed my feet for half an hour, but the smell wouldn’t go away. It had just soaked into the soles of my feet like nothing I have ever known before. It was a week before it went away, even with repeated twice daily scrubbing, as well as soaking my feet every day for half an hour. I am extra sensitive to scents though. I can’t really review how they work though, since I couldn’t use them more than once.
I’ve used these pads years ago and saw the toxic removal, but this time I did not have the same response; the pads were not ‘wet’ or soiled after wearing all night. That would suggest I have little or No toxins which seems doubtful to me. I will wait a few weeks before applying again and see what results I get.
I purchased the body relief Detox Foot pads being skeptical but hopful.
First off they are like a big tea bag so if you sweat while wearing them the bag is going to get darker because the stuff in the bag is going to get wet. Mine were almost the same color when I took them off my feet as when I put them on. The edges were dark.
I feel no different this morning than any other morning. I still have this itchy flaky skin on my right knee and my neck was still stiff.
I am going to give it another try since I bought two packages. I am going to try to use them on my hubby for his chronic back pain and see if there is any difference. One of my sons has a constant sore throat so I am going to try them on him as well.
Watch back and I will keep you posted. So far I am not impressed. Maybe these reviews are edited and they only keep the best ones because I researched this on many different websites and most all comments are positive.
People usually tend to critisize more than compliment so I still have some hope I will see some changes.
I am back to update my review – I am more like a 3 and a half stars now. They worked on my both my son’s and my daughters sore shoulders. They work to a point on my sore ankle and if I directly apply to my itchy knee it seems to help but if I don’t use it for awhile it comes right back.
They did not work on my husband back. I have to be honest – we do not use them everyday. That would be very expensive! The company did contact me with some suggestions and let me know I can reuse them if they do not turn black — That was good to know!
When I tried to select more stars it wouldn’t let me. I will probably order more when I can afford it.
the only problem i had with these patches they dont stick on the neck or the back .. its stick at first but when you make any little moves its fall down .. so i think the problem with the glue not the patches
